We are not afraid of Kotoko – Swedru All Blacks striker Faisal

Swedru All Blacks striker Faisal Charwetey says his team is ready to beat Asante Kotoko when the two sides meet in Week Six of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
The newly promoted side will welcome the Kumasi-based club to Swedru Stadium, hoping to continue their strong record against the Porcupine Warriors from last season.
Swedru All Blacks returned to Ghana’s top division after spending 16 years away from the league. They made a strong impression in their first season back by beating Kotoko in both of their meetings, showing that they can compete against the country’s former champions.
Ahead of the next meeting, Charwetey, who previously played for Nations FC, has made it clear that his teammates are determined to collect all three points and give their supporters something to celebrate.
“It’s a big game against Kotoko on Saturday. We sometimes struggle in away games, but we have promised ourselves that we will not lose at home. We will fight for a victory against Kotoko for the people of Swedru.
“We are not afraid of Kotoko. They are a big club, but that will not win them the game. We will win, simple!” he told Mo TV in an interview.
Both teams will be looking to improve their position on the league table after the first five matches of the season. Asante Kotoko are sixth with eight points, while Swedru All Blacks sit in 13th place with five points.
Saturday’s contest therefore gives both clubs a chance to add valuable points to their total, with the home side aiming to protect their ground and maintain their winning record against Kotoko.
The match is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm at Swedru Stadium, where Charwetey and his teammates will hope to turn their confidence into another victory over the Porcupine Warriors…CONTINUE MORE SPORTS>>>
