The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has charged Asante Kotoko, Aduana FC head coach Samuel Boadu, and players Hubert Gyau and Seidu Saana following Sunday’s Ghana Premier League game between Kotoko and Aduana FC.
Asante Kotoko face a charge over claims that some of their supporters threw objects onto the pitch after the match.
The club has until Wednesday, September 30, 2026, to respond to the charge brought against them.
Samuel Boadu has also been charged over an alleged gesture towards Kotoko supporters during Aduana FC’s 2-0 win at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The Aduana coach is accused of making an improper and provocative gesture towards the home fans and allegedly told them to “shut up” after the final whistle.
Boadu has also been given until September 30 to respond to the charge.
Meanwhile, Hubert Gyau and Seidu Saana have both been charged over their alleged conduct during the pre-match formalities.
The two players are accused of behaving in a way that was improper and unsporting and of bringing the game into disrepute. They have until Wednesday, September 30, to respond to their respective charges.
Aduana FC won the match 2-0, with Amankona and Saana scoring the goals that ended Kotoko’s unbeaten start to the season.
