Watch as coach Carlos Queiroz hits the dance floor as Ghana prepare to meet Panama

Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz showed off his dance moves during training as the team got ready for their first match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The squad completed their final training session before their opening game against Panama at Toronto Stadium on June 17, 2026.
During training, the players and coaching staff held a lively jama session to lift team spirit and build excitement. Everyone joined in singing and cheering together.
Goalkeepers’ trainer Fatau Dauda, who led the session, mentioned Queiroz in one of his songs. This encouraged the coach to dance lightly, bringing smiles and excitement to the squad.
Holding a football, Queiroz moved along to the rhythm and matched his hand movements to the music. He was joined by Fatawu Issahaku, who sang for him during the entertaining moment.
The cheerful atmosphere has given the team a boost ahead of the match, and many hope it will help improve their performance on the pitch. Queiroz’s experience is also seen as a big advantage as Ghana begin their World Cup campaign.
The World Cup, which is being hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada, started on June 11, 2026.
Ghana are in Group L alongside England, Croatia and Panama as they try to qualify for the knockout stage.
