“We know you are doing well, we know you’ve already excelled but we want you to go even higher…we thought to encourage you to do even more.”

“Every mother wants her child to be the best, so we are here to encourage you. All 30 million Ghanaians believe you will succeed. Don’t let us down.”

“Ghana is rooting for you regardless where Ghanaians are…Ghana is behind you and Ghana has high expectations of you. We know you will do the best you can” she said.

The Black Stars will face Panama without key midfielder Thomas Partey, whose visa application to enter Canada was denied.

The decision was upheld after an appeal by Partey’s legal team. Despite this setback, the Vice President expressed confidence in the team’s chances at the tournament. Continue to more sports.
