Real Madrid are interested in signing Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille, a player who is also being linked with Arsenal.
The Spanish club want to strengthen new manager Jose Mourinho’s squad ahead of next season and have reportedly joined the race to sign Bouaddi, who is attracting interest from several top clubs.
According to Radio Marca, Real Madrid see the Morocco international as a possible alternative to Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez. Chelsea are reportedly demanding a very high fee for the Argentina World Cup winner.
Bouaddi impressed for Morocco in their 1-1 draw against Brazil in a World Cup match at the weekend.
Lille are believed to value the 18-year-old at around £50 million, and any transfer is not expected to be completed until after the World Cup.
