Chelsea agree third summer sale – Fabrizio Romano confirms

Chelsea have reached an agreement to sell **Jimmy-Jay Morgan** to West Bromwich Albion for a package worth around £4 million, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The England U20 striker joined [Chelsea FC] in 2023 for €3.4 million but failed to make a senior appearance during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Morgan impressed at youth level, scoring 21 goals in 46 matches for Chelsea’s Under-21 side. He also gained valuable experience through loan spells with Gillingham FC and Peterborough United, netting 14 goals in 39 appearances for Peterborough last season.

Romano reported that Chelsea have negotiated a sell-on clause as part of the deal, allowing them to benefit from any future transfer involving the 20-year-old.

The move makes Morgan the latest departure from Chelsea this summer, following the exits of Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid and Frankie Runham to Ipswich Town.

On the arrivals front, Chelsea have already strengthened their squad with the signings of Geovany Quenda, Emmanuel Emegha, Dastan Satpaev and Denner Evangelista ahead of the arrival of new head coach Xabi Alonso. Continue to More Sports.
