We want to take the three point from England – Jordan Ayew

Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has shared a confident message ahead of Ghana’s important FIFA World Cup match against England, saying the team believes it can compete with any country in the tournament.
Ghana go into Tuesday’s Group L match feeling confident after Caleb Yirenkyi scored a late winner in their 1-0 victory over Panama.
Speaking to Ghanafa.org, Ayew said the team is fully focused on the challenge ahead and will continue to take the tournament one match at a time.
“We have two important games left. We take it game by game,” Ayew said.
“We are focused on getting the three points in the next match, and after that we will think about the last game.”
England started their World Cup campaign with a 4-2 win over Croatia, and another victory would secure their place in the knockout stage. Ghana, however, know that a good result would put them in a strong position before their final group match against Croatia.
Ayew admitted that England are a strong team but said Ghana believe they can cause an upset.
“It’s always difficult playing at the World Cup. There are no easy games, but we believe in ourselves, and we feel that anything is possible.”
A win over England would move Ghana closer to the knockout stage and keep the Black Stars’ record of never losing their second match at a FIFA World Cup.
After their victory over Panama, confidence is high in the Ghana camp, and Ayew believes the team is ready for another big test as they try to move closer to the Round of 32. Continue to More Sports.
